Susan Shepherd is the founder of Silver Tech Services, a company dedicated to helping seniors and veterans feel confident and connected in today’s digital world. With over 25 years of professional experience in technology and organizational systems, Susan brings patience, skill, and a deep passion for helping others through every client interaction.
Originally from South Carolina, Susan began her career in the U.S. Air Force in 1995, where she received specialized training in dental technology and digital systems. Over the next two decades, she served as a Registered Dental Assistant, working alongside Dr. Thomas Dawson for 25 years to form one of the most efficient and tech-savvy clinical teams in the field.
Her expertise in digital transformation grew over more than a decade of designing and developing websites for a wide range of businesses — including dental practices, law firms, commercial real estate agencies, and an above-ground tank company. Through these projects, she combined technical skill with an eye for usability and design, creating websites that made technology more accessible, professional, and effective for every client.
As Vice President of Development and Technology for Centergistix Software, Susan co-developed a platform that revolutionized implant case management by bringing advanced, user-friendly digital tools to dental professionals.
Now, through Silver Tech Services, Susan applies that same dedication to innovation and care to a new mission — empowering seniors to navigate technology with ease. Whether she’s helping set up a new computer, troubleshoot a device, or teach online communication tools, Susan’s mission is simple — "to make technology personal, approachable, and stress-free for every client.”
